Listed below are the many nursing terminologists, nursing informatics experts and other healthcare consultants, experts and members of the Clinical Care Classification (CCC) System National Scientific Advisory Board who contributed their time and expertise to review, revise and update different versions of the CCC System, originally known as the Home Health Care Classification (HHCC) System. Their names are listed by the different versions of the CCC System, starting with the most recent CCC System (version 2.5).

Also listed are nursing terminology experts responsible for mapping the CCC System (version 2.5) to SNOMED CT (Systematized Nomenclature of Medicine–Clinical Terms), LOINC (Logical Observation Identifiers Names and Codes) and ICNP (International Classification of Nursing Practice).

SNOMED CT: Original mapping of CCC System versions 1.0 and 2.0 was developed by Deborah Konicek and Cyndie Lunberg of the College of American Pathologists (CAP). CCC System version 2.0 was updated in 2014 by Tae Youn Kim of ICNP staff, and CCC System version 2.5 was updated in 2015/16 by Susan Matney, International Health Terminology Standards Development Organization (IHTSDO), with Tiffany Harman of 3MMM.

LOINC: Original mapping of CCC System versions 1.0 and 2.0 was developed by Susan Bakken, and CCC System version 2.5 was updated in 2015/6 by Susan Matney of IHTSDO with Tiffany Harman of 3MMM.

ICNP: Original mapping of CCC System version 2.0 nursing diagnoses was developed by Susan Matney at Siemens Corp, and CCC System version 2.5 was updated in 2015/16 by Amy Coenen, Nick Hardiker, Kay Ruth Jensen and Tae Youn Kim of the ICNP staff of International Council of Nursing (ICN).

2012: CCC System version 2.5: This version was updated between 2009-2011 from the ongoing work of the CCC System National Advisory Board members: Patricia Dykes, Rosemary Kennedy, Jackie Moss, Bonnie Westra, Barbara Van Der Castle, Luann Whittenburg, as well as Suzanne Bakken and Connie Delaney Consultants, and Amy Jacobs, healthcare terminologist, who reviewed and edited the CCC System version 2.5 revisions and codes. In 2015/16, Susan Matney, nursing terminologist, updated and mapped the CCC System version 2.5 revisions to SNOMED CT and LOINC with Tiffany Harman, 3MMM terminologist, and also developed a version for 3MMM website distribution. All of these experts donated their time and expertise to review the existing version of the CCC System at the time as well as evaluate the proposed new concepts and revisions recommended and submitted by CCC System users, practitioners, administrators, educators and researchers.

2002/04: CCC System version 2.0: This version emerged from the work and efforts of then CCC System Scientific Advisory Board Members Terri Ayers, Suzanne Bakken, Ruth Galtin Irwin and Sheila Sparks, and ad hoc members Amy Coenen, Nickolas Hardiker and Amy Farris, as well as many researchers, educators and clinicians who contributed and recommended diagnostic labels, nursing interventions and/or other terms and concepts for consideration and review.

1991: HHCC System version 1.0: This original version emerged from the federally funded research project conducted at the Georgetown University School of Nursing. It was conducted by Virginia K. Saba, principal investigator and project director, and a research team of Jennifer Boondas, Eugene Levine, David Oatway, Patricia O’Hare, William Scanlon and Dr. Alan E. Zuckerman; a nursing consultant, Sheila M. Sparks; two graduate students, Irene Reyes and Sheila Nveva; and an office manager, Andrew McLaughlin.
